The influence of emotions on sustainability
In our days we discuss the very concept of sustainability. Recycle, reuse, reproduce and saving measures, propose to preserve the planet’s resources and install a new order in the relationship of humans with their environment. But something important is missing. Something that is the spring that pushes us to act in a positive or negative manner about everything.
Dear readers I am pleased to present a global expansion of this measure:
EMOTIONAL SUSTAINABILITY
Do you consider yourself an emotionally sustainable person?
What emotional reserves you have to meet your needs with relationships, activities, habits and addictions that hold up your inner world?
Yes, we must take care of our outer world, but we cannot forget our inner world. That is where all of our decisions depends on and therefore our actions.
Can you deal with your emotional needs through its own resources? Or do you have to resort to the foreign reserves? As remedies for depression, eternal consultations with psychologists, drugs and alcohol and cigarettes to relieve pressure from stress?
The more external support we need, more pain is generated, more mental waste is produced and more polluted our inner and outer world gets.
One of the consequences of pollution generated within ourselves is reflected in traffic accidents, violence, low productivity, emotional disability, abandonment and child abuse, and many other consequences that entail inner weakness within the community.
We’ll have emotional sustainability when we’ll seek internal resources to deal with ALL emotions healthily.
How can we recycle our emotions and make an emotional profit?
1. Discovering that we have energy force and courage to face challenging situations rather than trying to evade them, or deposit them on the shoulders of others.
2. Achieving happiness through self knowledge and inner development.
3. Practicing our courage to unlock our hearts and minds clogged by emotional garbage from emotional traumas from childhood.
The planet begs the question of sustainability. But we must expand to improve this measure including human emotional, which is the cornerstone of a society because it is based on the largest search for a person in this life: the search for love and happiness.
Yours in emotional sustainability
